Principal's Message

As the proud new principal, it is with great excitement that I welcome you to Patrick Elementary School!  I am eager to get to know our students, families, and staff better, and to work together in creating a learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired.

After serving as a teacher in our district for over 12 years (3 of them here at Patrick), I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing school community. We are a small rural school in Gold Hill with a dedicated staff and dynamic students. Patrick is a very special place that offers small classes, multi-grade opportunities, hands-on & real-life experiential learning, and much more. We are passionate about preparing every student for what comes next and giving them the tools they need to achieve their unique goals.

We believe that social-emotional learning is the foundation for academic success. When students feel safe, connected, and confident, they are ready to take risks, explore new ideas, and reach their fullest potential. I have been a Rogue Valley resident since 1987 and have been an educator since 1998. I am a parent to five children, enjoy precious time with my four grandchildren, and value the important impact a supportive family can make. I look forward to partnering with you to nurture both the hearts and minds of our learners.

This year, I am committed to listening, learning, and building strong relationships with our school community. Together, we will celebrate our successes, overcome challenges, and watch our students grow into thoughtful, resilient, and curious learners. Here’s to a wonderful school year ahead!
